Application of graphite in electric brush of electric machine
The brush is divided into four categories: 1. graphite brush; 2. Electro-Chemical graphite brush; 3. Resin bonded graphite brush; 4. Metal Graphite Brush.
(1) Graphite brush:
It is in the natural graphite by adding asphalt, coal tar and other adhesives mixed repression. It has soft texture, good lubrication performance and low friction coefficient, but it is easy to damage the rectifier because of impurity content. Generally applicable to the rectification of normal, load-even motor.
(2) Electro-chemical graphite brush:
It is made of graphite, coke and other raw materials, nearly 2,500 ℃ above high temperature treatment. Its performance is good, so the use of a wide range of types of motor and rectifier conditions more difficult on the motor.
(3) Metal graphite carbon Brush:
It is in the graphite infiltration of copper and a small amount of tin, lead and other metal powder mixed, with excellent conductivity, load flow, particularly suitable for AC winding lost asynchronous motor and electric current DC motor.
